Kingmaker

Ulrik Torp (Anders W. Berthelsen) was once an ambitious young journalist, but years later, after a series of dismissals and a long spell on welfare, he ends up as an intern at his former workplace, Dagbladet. His old colleague and current editor-in-chief Henrik Moll (Nicolas Bro) asks Torp to report on the murder of an employee of the Ministry of the Interior. Torp has to find his way in a new media reality dominated by clickbait and social media. Together with two young interns, Torp sets out to track down a small circle of former politicians and top officials who will stop at nothing to ensure that power remains in the right hands. With the future of Danish democracy at stake, it is up to Torp to take action against the conspiracy.
